Turns iPad into a functional laptop

I've had it for a month now and I can tell the following things. Pros + Responsive keys positioned for fingertip typing - this matches my typing speed + Keys are backlit in adjustable levels so typing in the dark is easy + Adds the ability for a trackpad to move the cursor and an item to select (provides either hard press or touch-click functionality in Settings) + Trackpad supports Mac-like multi-finger functionality + Function keys above contain some Mac-like functions for sound, light and system lock + Function keys also contain a button that how a home button works, one that shows or hides the onscreen keyboard and one that opens the search box + the globe button in the bottom left corner can be assigned as Esc (very handy) + the iPad case includes a kickstand, to keep the tablet upright - Works pretty well on my lap + The case provides protection for the iPad for Clumsy + The case and keyboard are covered in a material that looks like fabric but holds up well l no visible stains + Case has a loop for a Logitech Crayon or Apple Pencil + Keyboard can be detached to allow other than case and Stand + Keyboard uses iPad power, no Bluetooth lag or separate battery + Mac users will find the Cmd and Option keys work as expected. Cons - Keyboard doesn't automatically activate after iPad locks - You have to remove and reconnect the keyboard (hoping iPadOS or a firmware update fixes this) - Home button sometimes becomes inactive and requires reconnecting Link dance as above (hoping for a fix soon) - takes a while to get used to slightly smaller than full size keys, but not bad - no way to reprogram the keys other than choosing a keyboard language and one single globe key (see above) - Some complain that the keyboard comes off easily when handled like a laptop (not a problem for me). Conclusion: I like it very much. This makes my iPad the compact equivalent of a laptop. Only the occasional loss of a feature prevents a 5-star rating.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE STAND - The flexible stand lets you tilt it up to 40Β° so you can always find the right angle for the task at hand. When you don't need to type, detach the keyboard and enjoy iPad's unobstructed screen.
