Review on πŸ“„ Hamilco 80 lb Cover Card Stock - 8 1/2 x 11" White Thick Paper - 50 Pack for Brochure, Award, and Stationery Printing by Lisa West

Was it really an Β£80 cover?

I've been looking for a cardboard box to make small boxes for a long time. I had to learn a lot about maps in a short amount of time and buying online is a risky business. Unfortunately reviews don't always help because it's hard to know what someone means when they say they're fat or thin. So here are my issues with this deck and how it compares to other papers I've used. I've had the same 176 gram envelope my kids and I used for postcards for years. It turned out to be a good box, but too light. I found a weight at Joanne's that I liked - their Bazzill 12x12 single-sided cardstock is thick and has no weight on it. Internet users said this is an 80 pound (216 gram) suitcase. That's why I bought this paper (I chose the 80lb (216g) option). First, it wasn't nearly as thick as Joanne's paper, maybe not even as thick as my 65 pounds. Secondly although it was well wrapped in plastic then in a box there was no indication of what it was! Only a sticker with the inscription "Hamilko when printing the card". weight not specified. How do I know I got Β£80 of it in the first place? I'm sure if you just need something thick to print on, that's fine - it's smooth and white and pretty. But it turns out a flimsy box.
