Not a $25 difference but worth a try

I tried Caredo because I have receding gums and bleed when I floss. I've never heard of it, it's not FDA approved, and even the seller has a graphic in the product description that says "CREADO". They spelled their product name wrong - it should have been a red flag. The taste is ODD. How super weird. One of the other reviews compared it to orange peel and I've never tried anything else. It's labeled "Spearmint," but that's about as far from flavor as you can imagine. It's bitter, the texture is slightly grainy, and everything around it is weird. Admittedly, you get used to it, but the first few brushes will be an experience. In terms of efficiency, I noticed very little improvement. I would occasionally bleed when brushing my teeth and I have to say that I haven't noticed any blood when brushing my teeth for a few weeks, but it wasn't that often at first. However, my main reason for this has been receding gums and bleeding when I floss. This helped both VERY minimally. My gums don't look noticeably better, maybe the receding has decreased by a hair? And I still bleed when I floss, but maybe a little less. The active ingredient in this toothpaste (according to Revain) is histidine. Take a few minutes to research - literally NOWHERE on the internet will you find anything about histidine, which helps with periodontal disease, receding gums, or its use in toothpaste or oral care products in any way other than mentioned in relation to this particular product. In fact, there seems to be very little evidence that histidine helps, despite the fact that it is said to help. I'd say it's worth a try if the problems you're trying to solve are minor - $25 is a hard sell. for a second tube and I'm very suspicious of this active ingredient (which doesn't appear to be harmful but has no evidence of being particularly helpful), but it seems to have helped me somewhat. So if you just want "a little bit" then it might be worth buying.
