I bought one of these goggles to wear on obstacle courses and was generally very pleased. In particular, I was tired of crawling on obstacles - cable crawling, rope crawling, etc. - and running away with torn knees that wouldn't heal until the next race. They are of immediate and tangible importance to me. They represent an excellent level of protection, especially in racing when crawling on concrete or rocky surfaces and offer excellent protection for the knees. Gravel/rock stays behind them and they can be a nuisance if left on for too long (when you wear them for Spartan Beast races for example) - but in the shorter 5k races they were great all the time. Eventually the stitching on them failed - after a couple of races and a whole heap of pulling up and down. I was size L and just bought it in size XL.
