The size went up a lot, my daughter has a pair of 2 different sizes, one size fit her perfectly until she grew up. Then when these pants were 3 inches above her ankle I ordered a size up and they ended up being very baggy on her. But in the next year it will grow into her. She is very slim and has long legs. So girls of average height/weight I shouldn't have a problem. That's something I always struggle with when it comes to pants for her.
