I assembled it myself but the glass is very heavy. It becomes difficult when you cannot lift the glass and there is no one around to help you. When the item was delivered the box was open at both ends and no hardware was present. I paid an additional $18 to get the hardware needed to assemble the glass shelf and legs. The hardware must be packed in a box, not just with a rope to ensure its safety. The UPS driver noted that there might be damage due to the condition of the box, but fortunately all parts remained intact. The assembled table is beautiful.
