I have to return both ordered because they are SO SMALL! I will give the measurements to other people so you don't have this problem when ordering. SMALL sizes: 12" back (without collar) and LARGE sizes: 16" back. They hardly fit my dogs, I could have kept both if I wanted the jackets to be shorter/tighter. I prefer to return both a size up to keep my dogs comfortable and in case they shrink in the wash. My 11 lb Maltese needs to swap it small for a medium and my 22 lb terrier needs to swap it large for an extra large. I love the style and quality of the jackets so I think they are worth buying but they expand a lot as you size up for your dog/s. Hope this review helps others.
