Review on Logitech MK750 Wireless Keyboard Marathon by Brian Whitmore

Great combination - easy setup

I used to use Logitech wireless mice. However, I have always used an Apple keyboard with my iMac. I was intrigued by the solar keyboard and the Unifying receiver. This is my first Logitech wireless keyboard. Here's my review after using the MK750: About the keyboard: - It's bigger than Apple's wired numpad keyboard and I love the keyboard feet. Seems to be the right slope. The legs look a little thin, but we just have to see it. The keyboard is made of high quality material. The keys seem to have a different mechanical design, making the keyboard harder to stick. The mechanical design of the keyboard is well thought out by Logitech. It makes a quiet sound and most importantly the right feeling when typing. This allowed me to focus on my thoughts for the most part (without having to worry about messing up my fingers or hand positions, etc.). It offers only the basic functions you need from a keyboard. The Fn key and the normal ability to launch some gadget applications. It has everything I need for my iMac. The solar panel is a big plus. It seems to consume very little light (as advertised). The battery was delivered charged from the factory. I tried to run it for a few days by covering the solar panel with a piece of paper. It still shows that the battery is charged (green LED is on when checking). In my computer room, the blinds are closed, but there is enough ambient light and overhead lighting for electricity. About the mouse: The MK750 mouse is slightly lighter than the wired M-U0007 and takes up less space. I like it because my workplace is small. The scroll wheel has 2 modes i.e. super fast mode and precise mode. Almost the same buttons as the M-U0007. No relearning. It also has a small storage compartment for the Unifying USB receiver in case you want to take it with you on the go. Another good idea. Logitech supplied two AA Duracells for the mouse. About the setting: - Click! Plug in the Unifying USB, turn on the keyboard and OSX will prompt you to press two keys and the keyboard will be identified. Put batteries in and turn on the switch and OSX will detect. All other settings are made via the system settings. I look forward to using this combination for a long time.
