Review on πŸ”‹ Optimal USB C Rapid AA AAA Battery Charger: 8-Bay Intelligent NiMH NiCd Rechargeable Battery Charger for AA & AAA Batteries by Kelly Kaliyan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable and good build quality

This is a solid charger. The ability to charge individual cells (rather than in pairs like most chargers) is quite handy. The charging time is fast compared to other chargers I own. The charger requires a USB power adapter/phone charger with an output of 5V/2A. If you attempt to use a power adapter that is underpowered, the first few slots will be illuminated with dim red LEDs and the charger will not function. There is an LED for each battery position that lights up red when charging. active, green when charging is complete and off when nothing is connected or the cell voltage is too low. All lights will flash red/green/off when the charger has power so you can check if they are all working individually. This charger is pretty light, I took it apart to make sure the charging circuitry wasn't a bit sketchy. Pictures are attached. The build quality looks good. Definitely worth the money if it lasts long. It looks like the circuit is split into a couple of battery cells. I couldn't find any information online about the main ICs or the motherboard, both of which are marked "BETRUESMART". Please mark this review as helpful if this was the case
