The first one just stopped working after a few minutes. After fiddling around, it turned out that the defect was in the battery compartment: it wasn't making contact with all the batteries, thereby draining the creature's power. We ordered a replacement and it worked perfectly. Of course I have no idea if I was just unlucky or if they have quality control issues. When we got a worker, our 2 year old liked it very much. One thing to note though: It doesn't roll properly on carpet.
