1 Main Problem - Controls

I really like these controls. They are high quality and don't look bad. A word of caution before you buy them. The "lever" that connects to the splines on the front derailleur is constructed differently than on factory Harleys. The splines have a small crescent shaped notch that allows the bolt in the factory control to slide in there and prevents the lever from slipping straight out. These controls come with a 1/4 20 hex head screw that does nothing of the sort. After about 20 minutes of vibration, you can immediately pull out the shift lever without any effort. This is when it doesn't fall off on its own. I fixed this by drilling the existing holes to accept a 3/8 stainless steel screw and lock washer. It doesn't fall off by itself. This is the only fault I could find with these controls and I've been using them for about 6 months now. If you're mechanically inclined enough to install them yourself, you can basically fix them yourself.
