They work great when they work. They are made of very light plastic and are very easy to break when changing from a smaller to a larger lamp. We ordered 8, 6 worked, 3 broke under the weight of the standard LED bulb in the skylight (the weight of the bulb was the only thing straining the connection). Great idea, can be very useful, but just not very well built.
