Save your money, not easy. Not for the color blind

This is my second set of SleepPhones, I bought the original hassle free wireless version in 2015. In the end, one of the headphones had a short circuit, then the other. However, I can say that the band itself makes a good, if not entirely expensive, sleep mask. Thought I'd try again because they were supposed to be new and improved. First of all, let me say that by no stretch of the imagination, they are not easy. I usually have to pull the little module out a bit to see if it actually loads. There's no real way to find out the opposite. If I don't, I often come back later to find that they don't charge. Now they say the light changes color, but then I wouldn't know because the little red and green lights are basically identical to me. Which brings me to another point: not only can they not tell when they're charging, but they can't see the battery level. It would be so easy for them to do like my other wireless earbuds and have me press a button and say the current battery level and/or have my Android phone show the battery percentage, no, they just decided Giving a giant middle finger to color blind people everywhere. Other than that, all I can say is that the same complaints I had about the 2015 version are still there. The group already has a small gap, I've only had it for a few weeks. The speakers inside, as well as the control module, just seem to move everywhere, so you generally have to push and pull to get everything back in line with your ears. I think now they could come up with a better design. Wireless charging is a good idea, just poorly executed. They cost $130 and the ones I bought in 2015 cost $99, so I'm guessing "easy" should cost $30 more. I do not think so. I think the price, which is already high for what you get, shouldn't have gone up due to what appears to be just normal product development.
