This set was purchased with another to decorate a girl's bedroom. Our daughter has transitioned from throw away to a "real" bedroom. Due to a limited budget, I first bought essentials (a decent mattress, a stand, a cold floor mat, storage space for clothes, a desk) and left a thin wallet for decorative items. My frugal, forward-thinking daughter opted for neutral colors for the bedding, curtains, walls, and carpet. (All purchased on Revain sale). To spice things up after the "important" things were done, we brainstormed to make the most of what was left in the budget. They made the cut. And they look great. We simply hung them at different heights from her ceiling over her bed and reading nook using spare strings her father had donated to the cause and tying them to small clear pins. The effect is really cool. I would like to upload photos, but since the last update of my phone I can't. I hope that once this is fixed I can go back to my review and then add it. They were easy to put together and we worked on finishing them while watching TV shows together. The included hanging ropes were fine, we just wanted more height variety for decorative purposes. The tissue paper puffs were a little tricky to work with. My daughter was in too much of a hurry and was too aggressive in her efforts and tore part of the jewelry. It wasn't difficult to fix, but I recommend patience and a light touch. Paper lanterns spread easily. Again, a little patience and a light touch! If you're not, hire someone who likes to take their time. (It's not that it takes too much time to prep. You just can't put the pieces together, and for goodness sake if it's for a party, DO NOT wait until the last minute to do this! I would make it ahead of time and save carefully and DO NOT pack them in large garbage bags or bins to get them ready for use.) I would definitely buy them again!
