Review on Armen Living Pharaoh Swivel Leather by Tammy Johnson

Sturdy, Swivel, Comfortable

We visited many stores in our area to try on bar stools. Most of them felt very wobbly and light, just a general feeling of being cheap. Our final stop was a high-end store that sells pool tables, patio furniture, slot machines, and other items. They had a variety of bar stools and we really liked how durable and attractive this stool was. In the store they wanted double what we paid on Amazon for the exact same chair. It was marked 'Edie' in the store and the seller tried to put me off the Amazon saying 'Pharaoh' by saying it was cheaper quality and no guarantee. However, the shipping weight was the same as Edy's, so I gave it a try and it's the exact same chair, just with "Pharoah" written on it. It just feels high quality, so durable. The seat is very comfortable, the upholstery is pleasant and I really liked the short back. It's just enough to support your back, but unlike many others we've sat high in the back, you don't feel like you have to sit very straight to be comfortable. We also liked the twisting action because if you put the bar stools under the countertop ledge it's a lot easier for me to 'get out' by twisting to the side first as your knees get pinched to a degree. Very easy to assemble, only 4 screws. All in all great chairs that I can only recommend.
