Construction error ATTENTION! I bought two of these cases, one to upgrade my old worn out SP3 case and the other for my son's SP3 he just bought. I have to admit, at first I was very impressed with the build quality and the fact that it had a case for the font cover. BUT everything disappeared in the blink of an eye when my wife tried to use my SP3 and accidentally knocked it off the table. He did a backflip and landed on the unprotected half of the tablet screen, causing spiderweb tears to appear on the screen of my beloved old trusty SP3. Needless to say, it broke my spirits and caused a massive burst of swear words out of my mouth. After examining the damaged screen, my attention naturally turned to the case itself, where I discovered a design flaw. You see, when the footrest is deployed to allow the SP3 to stand upright, the bottom half of the SP3's body needs to be detached so that it can also be folded with the SP3's stand (see image). This leaves the bottom half of the Service Pack 3 screen completely open and vulnerable. Now it costs me $230 to repair my SP3 screen. Well, after years of painstaking care, my SP3 is finally finished with a design-faulty protective cover. I hope that by taking the time to write this article, I can save at least one more person from making the same mistake as me!
