Promising swimsuit but sizing/fit issues

This swimsuit has a 3/4 fit for me. The good things first: I like the dark blue color. The suit looks well tailored, with strong stitching. You can tie the back in a variety of ways and it will stay in place. My 30g chest is fully enclosed and doesn't feel like it's popping out even when I'm swimming fast or rocking in the water. It's flattering and because it's cut like a regular bikini top with a little more room in the cups, it doesn't look like you wore your bra to the beach. Now for the bad: The custom sizing was frustrating as the cup sizes don't make sense without the strap size. By themselves they mean NOTHING! A 30G cup holds a volume of about 700cc, while a 38G cup holds almost 1400cc. So my friend with a G cup with a 38 stripe is almost twice the size of my chest! AD cup volume may vary from 390cc. cm for 30" belt up to 3000cc See for 56" belt. Will a 56D woman fit in the same bikini top as a 30D woman? Of course not! Body Glove's advice to order "your normal cup sizeโ€ does not make sense as not all D/E/F cups are created equal. In the absence of a fixed strap size, we need to know cup sizes/capacity and it drives me crazy that a women's swimwear company doesn't even seem to know what a cup size is. Anyway, I risked it in the dark and ordered an F. It was definitely too big (although it worked) and I think I should have ordered an E. I am guessing they are basing cup sizes on a size 34 wearer. There were some other fit issues as I am a relatively small person (5ft 3in, 120lbs, size 4). different from the photo on the model). The cups are a bit too wide for me. My cups are quite high, usually up to my collarbone, and also go too far under the armpits. too long for me and I had to trim them down drastically. If you're also short and have a smaller strap size, you may also run into these issues. Overall, I think the cut can work very well if you're a little taller / longer than me with a streak size of 34 or more. The length of the drawstrings means this suit can be a great option for plus size women as long as they keep in mind that they may need to increase their cup size. It's not exactly perfect for me, although with some basic adjustments, it's a lot better and more comfortable than taking an XL top and tying it really tight.

Pros
  • Removable padded cups for added comfort
Cons
