As a "long-time" HP user, I chose the DELL on the recommendation of colleagues. So far I'm very satisfied, especially since "the price was right" since it was on sale. I love its properties. However, as a visual learner I would love to receive a printed copy of the user manual that describes the features as I'm not the most tech savvy person. I am a recently retired educator and a conscientious elderly person with a visual impairment, so reading what is on the screen can be difficult and time consuming. The choice of the 15.6 inch screen was very advantageous for me. With this in mind I would like to choose a DELL with DVD/CD-R/W player installed. I had to buy an external drive which I just received. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it for the home user.
