This sporty coat was designed with an active lifestyle in mind. Its extremely moveable and stretches in many directions. It provides adequate cover against cold without being cumbersome and heavy like a regular coat. I'll use it for running and it has thumb holes on each side and holes at the wrist so I can glance at my watch without moving my thumbs out. The hooded part even has a ponytail hole. The pockets are zippered and feel really secure and hold a good bit. Even with all of the openings, the holes don't gape open, but its more of easy access. I wish it came in black, I'd order another. As long as it holds up, its going to be a very useful piece of clothing that I'll use!
