I used to use regular interconnect cables and I really liked them. I'm surprised there aren't any other reviews so I'll give you a long one :) Sure they're a bit overpriced, but they're definitely high quality braided cables that will last. I also love the weighted ball feature and have used it way more times than I ever thought possible! It's very long, 10 feet, which gives me a lot of freedom. I didn't jump on the wireless charging bandwagon, so the charging cables are where they are and the ones provided by Apple aren't long enough. I've had a black one for my phone for a long time and I like it. Although some of the cords may have come loose from the weighted ball, this will not affect function and can probably be reattached. After delaying purchasing a longer cable for my iPad Pro for too long, I finally started looking for something similar. and the native union seems to be the only one with a weighted ball, 10ft, braided cable with lots of connector options etc. so I'm very glad they released a USB C to C version with nice silicone weight instead of braided ball , which I also like very much. It works just as well; can be positioned anywhere on the cable, stays where you put it, plus it looks good and should last longer! I also love that this cable has a charge indicator and I love the sage green color so they've updated a few things in this new CC cable. I accidentally ordered a USB-A to USB-C adapter and it still had the weight of the braid, no charging indicator etc. I also really appreciate the included lifetime warranty card so you can register your product and they support it, if something happens. You have elegant packaging, great looks and a quality product with everything I need! I'd say go for it, it's worth the extra bucks IMO. There are plenty of braided 10ft charging cables out there, but none with a weighted ball if that's important to you. I feel like it really helps with cable management. I'm always in bed with my devices, and when too much extra cable swamps me, I just toss the ball off the edge of the bed and it drags the excess down and out of the way. Plus, throwing and pushing the line is fun! And adds a lot to a boring cable ;) I've never had a product failure when it didn't charge fast enough, I think it's because my adapter's wattage was too low. Definitely recommend!
