I have been a collector and lover of mate tea, bombilla and various mugs for many years. Many of them look good on the shelf, but their usability factor is low. Most are too small for a serious drinker like me, some are not isolating, and while attractive, burn my hands when the tea is hot. While it doesn't look like a traditional gourde mate, the double-walled stainless steel mug obviously holds a delicious 12 ounces and keeps it cold or hot. I drink it both ways depending on the season. Some people notice that only one of the two bombillas fits on the lid. Compare the price of this set with 2 bombillas and the price of most bombillas individually. Consider a 2 for 1 straw as a gift with 1 to enjoy with another mug. Personally, I am grateful for such an attractive set at an attractive price.
