so much to love EXCEEDED my expectations!

I ordered this deck before reading the reviews. As soon as I read the reviews, I immediately regretted the purchase, almost to the point of canceling it. However, something told me to trust my intuition and just wait for it. I'm glad I did. I love it. I've collected various incarnations/reboots of the Rider Waite Smith deck and this deck is exactly what I was hoping for, plus a few others. Let's see: - the box is functional, durable and unique in design; It's a box, it serves its purpose. The ubiquitous "LWB” is a multi-folder with basic map information and some sample pages to use; it's fairly nominal, but it's standard. The deck is slightly smaller than a standard sized tarot (like the Witch Tarot); medium-weight cardboard that holds up well; a glossy linen finish (the "weave" of the linen finish is very tight and dense, which ensures the longevity of the card). - The back of the card is a cold ghostly gray-blue color (somewhere between heather gray and robin egg). blue), with a central mandala painted in rich Easter pink and purple. The color scheme is similar to other RWS decks, but each card has a vintage wash that gives everything an overall vibe that makes me think of sun-soaked jeans (which is why I bought them in the first place). I don't know why some people got typo decks? These reviews scared me the most. But I've carefully examined each card and they're all intact. There are no missing color blocks, weird lines or ink blots, etc. If there were any issues on the first run through of these cards, they must have been fixed as I have no complaints. These cards are a great choice for any Tarot or RWS enthusiast, from beginner to expert.
