I bought this tripod so I can move the ring light and use it sitting or standing. It was very easy to set up and use. It's light, so I took it with me when I traveled abroad alone. In the photos he is standing on a chair and is also fully extended. I am very happy with my purchase. No ring light was included, but I simply screwed in the ring light shown. Fully extended with an attached ring light, it measures approximately 62 inches without the ring light attached.
