I use this for pickles in very cold weather (27 degrees) and this thing keeps my bald head warm even when I'm sweating. I love this item, my son gifted it to me (black) and I also bought the royal blue and army green. It's also light on my head but difficult to use when reading glasses are needed as it's so snug. I have to turn the sides to put the temples on my ears. At this price I can live with that.
