I bought two pairs of these gloves for my two adopted daughters. One is 10 and the other is 8. We live in Alaska and they needed a pair of warm gloves for the long winter season. The ones in our shop are boring in color and design. These were too cute to pass by. The design is amazing. In life it looks the same as in the picture. The design is a zigzag print of light pink, dark pink, sky blue, teal, light purple, dark purple, and white. Beautiful collection of girly flowers! The kids love them and love wearing them. They have a very thickly insulated interior. Keeps kids warm even in the coldest weather. They have pink wrist cuffs that keep the gloves in place even during the toughest game. They also have adjustable pink velcro straps and an elastic band around the arm. These gloves almost never fall off. They have small plastic clasps on their gloves to attach to their coats. We don't use them. They're cheap and flimsy and I just have a feeling they'll break if kids aren't careful and they'll lose their gloves. Outside - waterproof polyester material. It is waterproof and well protected from snow. Warm fleece-like material inside. The thermal insulation is enough so that your hands do not freeze during the game. I've never heard them complain about cold hands. One problem is that the gloves are too small to turn inside out when snow gets in. They are very difficult to dry. It takes 2-3 days to fully dry. The fingers are thick, which I like, but it's hard for small hands to move. The gloves fit well but they are too big for girls to hold things well. There is a rubber material on the palm and thumb that helps them grip objects. I'm not sure how much they'll need it as all they really snatch are snowballs. Ha ha. Overall I like these gloves because girls like them. They are waterproof and warm. The colors are bright and girly. Fun design and style that will appeal to many girls with different styles. I love gloves! Definitely worth 5 stars for the price.
