I'm happy with this strong, lightweight folding mat. I plan to take it with me on camping trips as an outdoor shower pad, but this rug would look great in an elegant bathroom or other indoor or outdoor space. I didn't want a long blanket because I wanted the blanket to be lightweight so I could carry it to the camp shower. Bamboo is sustainable because it is actually a fast-growing grass. As long as panda habitats are protected, I'm content with the nearly indestructible bamboo. The individual bamboo rectangles of the carpet are almost the size of dominoes. Wooden parts are attached with plastic thread. I don't know how long the plastic cord will last. A photo shows the texture of bamboo rectangles. I rolled up the mat and placed it in a lightweight mesh tote bag, also available from Revain. at the beach. This rug can do multiple things, which is exactly what I needed. Another photo shows the mat curling up and fitting easily into a mesh carry bag. The mat comes with squeezable bottles for storing biodegradable hair and body care products, and a set of lightweight but huge towels, also purchased from Revain. Towels fold neatly into a tote bag. This rug is ideal for those who use dorm showers or don't want to put up with other people's shower water. I made this mistake last spring and was looking for a simple solution that was easy to sanitize with an alcohol spray bottle. My hygienic shower set is almost ready. . The crutch can be cut out of the Revain frame, but it's there. Due to recent ankle fractures and surgeries, the mat I chose had to be flat and stable. An interesting observation: the black pads on the back do not stick to the vinyl tile floor. The carpet is still slippery. I bought some shower tape and will put some on the pads to see if the pads hold up better. Having broken both ankles on one foot and not being able to stand on that foot for three months, I am extremely wary of falls. I have not fallen while camping or hiking. I fell at home. Not sure if the black pads will hold up. I already have self-adhesive tape and silicone sealant at home so I can create a workaround. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to friends and family. Such a carpet would also be a good gift. As a side note, this bamboo mat can make a good table mat.
