Review on πŸš— MadDog GearComfort Ride Seat Protector by Coleman by Joseph Rasmussen

Revainrating 2 out of 5

We've been downgraded! The location I received is NO longer the location in the marketing photos. Buyer Warning.

At some point in the recent past, the Coleman MadDog's comfort seat lost its comfort! By that I mean that the ratings and high rating here are based on the previous 'model' as shown in the marketing. The new version I received is thinner and lower foam quality. I compared it to the first one I bought two years ago. The new one has much less support (impact tested) and transforms from a seat cushion into a seat cover. If you need to cover a crappy $20 spot, here you are. If your seat is too low or uncomfortable, try to find some old stock hanging somewhere because new ones suck. I estimate 40% less support foam and the sections between blocks are now foam free compared to a few mm on the old model. The differences are visible. It's a shame, it was a great product. (In the attached photos, the new product folds lifeless in one photo while it fits under the old seat in the other)
