Well, first let me say that it's just light, there's nothing special about it other than the fact that it gives you instant sun wherever you want, which is definitely cool. Absolutely amazing when trying to capture beautiful shots indoors. Personally I found it a good late read and I also love the fact that you can adjust the brightness on it and position your head however you like well if you like as arguably a good table lamp. But if I had to say that this lamp is for everyone, I would definitely say that the photographer will like it more! You can actually get a good shot that isn't too obtrusive, which you couldn't do normally if you didn't have the right conditions and if you lived in the right area with the right lighting, this is where many things will help you not to be missed if you don't live in such an area. Overall no I would say it's a good product and it's a good light, it may not be for every person but if you are the type of person I described I would definitely recommend buying it.
