Bought this watch in December 2019 when I was 4 months pregnant. I've always used the "Float" setting when showering. The day after showering it stopped working. I saw a very thin wire sticking out from the back. I called Samsung and sent it in for repair. I was told it was my fault and that liquid damage would void the warranty! Of course there was liquid damage, it broke when I was in the shower. I was told that waterproof doesn't equal waterproof and that I shouldn't have worn it in the shower. I asked why there is a swim setup, if it can't handle the shower. The technician had no answer. The next person told me that high altitude and extreme temperature changes can damage the watch, and it's still my fault. I pointed out my high-risk pregnancy and the subsequent caesarean section. I haven't been backpacking or skydiving lately, but in the end Samsung refused to honor their warranty and wanted to charge me the same price as a new watch just to fix the one that was supposed to be under warranty !
