This cartridge will not work in my Canon mf249dw. I get a cartridge communication error message and the printer light is blinking red. The only suggested solution is to restart the printer or remove and reinsert the cartridge. None of these steps solve the problem. And since I had bought the cartridge in advance to have on hand when my cartridge ran out, the 30 day warranty period had expired. So not only did I lose a working printer, I also lost the price of the cartridge.
