I ordered these cable sets because I don't want the OEM cables that come with my devices to suffer the fate of broken connectors and short wires. I have to say these internal braided cables are pretty tough? If you hold it in a certain position, it will be like that. If you want to extend the lifespan, then fine. Gold-plated connectors feel comfortable. Prevents easy disconnection of the cable while driving with my phone and setting up an external battery. Usually, the cables that come with my devices get disconnected as my body moves. I haven't tried how it transfers data as I usually use an SD card, wifi or bluetooth. I recommend it especially if you have to move on foot, it stays in place if not enough force is used.
