I tested my bags before putting any valuables in them. I soaked them in the sink and played with them for days. I had no leaks or anything in the bag got wet. So I guess you can say he did his job. Very little learning curve in opening and closing tabs. I also put my phone in to test the touchscreen, it worked very well. They are not very durable so I would be gentle with them and use them properly just not knowing the durability of the material. But in general I would recommend them for storing your phone and valuables if you are in a situation where they can get submerged or wet.
