Now I give 5 stars because the first use was impressive. I will update this review as I use it more often. I had an accident that broke my leg and required reconstructive surgery on my leg and ankle. A frustration in healing is caused by swelling of these areas causing increased pain due to stretching and tearing of the skin. The edema itself is prolonging my PT progress so I'm just confused. I had to take the initiative to solve this swelling problem because the tactic recommended by the doctor didn't work. So I thought I'd give CINCOM a try. On the first try, I chose the lowest intensity and experimented with massage modes. I prefer the circulation mode, but the others are good too. This time I didn't use heat and worked for 20 minutes. After the first session, the swelling on my lower leg was COMPLETELY gone. The decrease in swelling in the ankle and foot was significant but not complete. To be honest I wasn't expecting full relief so I'm fine with that. Then I lifted my leg and foot. That was the first time in 10 weeks that I wasn't in pain. In fact my leg and foot felt great just like everyone else after a great massage. I hope this therapy will help me get over the PT plateau and speed healing. However, I would recommend this massager to anyone, whether disabled in any way or not. When MY leg and foot can feel so good after a massage, healthy and uninjured people can enjoy this therapy all the more. The quality seems to be good, especially the electronics. And it comes with a great duffel bag so you can pack all the pieces together and put them away.
