This is the perfect solution for those of us who want to use a PC without a sound card. Connect a PC speaker kit or microphone or (as in my case) a set of in-ear headphones to my HP micro server that doesn't have a sound card installed. This cable came plugged in and works on Windows 10. This is a great non-technical solution for anyone looking for a microphone or audio output on a PC device that doesn't already offer an output if a spare USB port is available. , just use the free USB slot and you're done! Great for those who aren't tech savvy or for those of us just looking for a quick and easy fix. I am currently using the cable as a headphone output on my home HTPC. /media server, just for convenience. Great sound quality for both movies and music and this is where the real test lies! The embedded Realtek chip was spotted almost immediately. I recommend!
