I love this camera, it was exactly what I was looking for: an inexpensive pocket camera that still takes good pictures. I bought this camera to complement Canon's full-size PowerShot S5 IS (which I believe was replaced by the PowerShot SX30 IS). I wanted something I could put in my pocket and take with me on short trips and social media that is a much better camera than my phone. much larger sensor. Almost the only feature I'd like to have as an addition to this camera is full manual control of shutter speed and aperture, but that's far from essential for the situations I wanted the camera for. ideal as a first digital camera for beginners or as a complement to a large camera for advanced photographers.
