Rocking bass response and noise cancellation. Bose watch out!

Recently I was looking for new Bluetooth noise canceling headphones. Meidong's predecessor, the E7B, received very positive reviews, so I was asked to be one of the first to try the similarly priced E7C. Bose Quiet Comfort 15 headphones for $300. To my surprise they are really very good! A few years ago I was intrigued by the original Bose model. It doesn't have Bluetooth like Meidong. Bose pioneered the concept of active noise cancellation, and these types of headphones are a godsend for long flights or any busy, noisy environment. When watching movies on an airplane, Bose delivers great sound and miraculously cancels out all other annoying airplane noise. At home my wife jokingly complains about the noise canceling feature as well as the noise from everything she asks me to do around the house. Needing new Bluetooth headphones for music from my phone as well as noise canceling, I tried Meidong on 1/. Fifth, the price of the latest Bluetooth $350 Bose Quiet Comfort 35 seemed like a worthy test. Noise Cancellation: Meidong vs. Bose: To my surprise, Meidong is just as good. Almost the same answer. Excellent! Construction and wearing comfort: Meidong vs. Bose: Both are reasonably light and well made. For my head sometimes the Bose wobbles a bit if I don't overtighten them and then they sit a bit uncomfortably on my head. The meidong were very comfortable indeed, with the exception of a blemish on my right ear. If I moved the earbuds just a little bit, the very slight discomfort would go away, as the top-to-bottom shape of the ear best matches the shape of the headphone shell. Make sure you have the side marked R on your right ear as I quickly learned. I believe that every average user will be satisfied. Music fidelity: Meidong vs. Bose: If your music tastes lean toward rock or hip-hop, you'll likely find Meidong very satisfying. The lower mids roll back slightly, as does the highs, leaving the listener with a tight, punchy sound. The side-to-side reproduction of the Meidong soundstage is excellent. Bose headphones are more suited to a flat tonal range, not as impressive in the bass, but more open and crisp in the mids and highs that Bose is known for. So the Boss is more of an audiophile high-end headphone that goes well with jazz or classical music. In terms of sound quality, I compare the Meidong headphones more realistically to my daughter's $150 Skullcandy Crusher Bluetooth headphones, which are also known for their performance. Bass. These phones have nice variable bass capability, but also clip the treble a bit. The Crusher doesn't have noise cancellation, but the $150 Skullcandy Venue does. So it all depends on your taste in music, your opinion on price and value, and whether you're interested in noise-cancellation. Once you try this feature, you'll be enchanted, and Meidong strikes a good balance between value and an amazingly immersive music experience.
