Review on Building Imagination: NWFashion Children's Wooden Assemble Miniature Set for Creative Play by Chris Bhatia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Intermediate entry level, easy to set up

No step by step instructions included so I highly recommend watching some YouTube videos on assembly. I was able to assemble this kit in about an hour and a half using just an Exacto knife and an emery board. Parts are shipped pre-cut from wood panels, but sometimes help with die cutting is required. I also found that some of the tabs need to be shaved off a bit to fit properly. The circles in the top fairing were poorly cut and didn't want to stick out resulting in some damage to the fairing which was very disappointing. I plan to fully customize and paint this house so I left it unglued so I can see the details. for painting. I also didn't add a chimney, front spire, or gingerbread because they didn't match my vision. I also found that the assembled kit is less than 1:12; a quarter image is included for sizing purposes. I think it might be 1:28 scale. Overall this is a good set and I love how it fits together! It wasn't as scary to assemble as some wrote in their reviews, but again I would highly recommend watching a YouTube video of others putting it together. I would say this is an intermediate level for beginners and a good starting point for building your own wooden dollhouse. It has good bones for building your own dollhouse and easy to customize.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
