They work well for mounting our 2" x 6" panels as shown. The design of these panels has double wires at the top and bottom when mounted horizontally like ours, not vertically so the brackets will not fit between the double wires. For horizontal mounting, if your grilles are the same as ours, you will need to move a square, which should be taken into account when measuring for mounting.
