I bought one for my bed and one for the guest bed. Both are breathable and lightweight, which is what I want out of a waffle blanket. However, they are not soft. At all. They are a step and a half away from being straight-up scratchy. It's not really an issue, because I sleep under a flat sheet with this blanket over top. And it IS cozy! But it says "soft" right there in the name of the product. Can't let them get away with that claim. I paid $33 at 60% off, and it's worth that price, but I'd be fuming if I paid $80 for this.
