I was a basket mother before COVID. Doorknobs, railings, just putting my hands where other hands were, always disgusted me. I use a lot of hand sanitizer. I'm starting to take my grandson shopping and I've reached a new level of whimsicality with shopping carts. I spent about 5 minutes spraying and disinfecting everything he could touch (shameful. Yes, I know. As if playing with other children's toys in the park doesn't make him any worse? His mom should be worried about that (I'm just taking it I digress.) I had a clever idea that getting this thing would mean that 1. HE shouldn't touch the cart and 2. I shouldn't touch the cart! Win, win! It also offers a little cushion for his fat little feet. There's a learning curve. Take your time the first time. BUT, the small pocket that folds in half becomes a small pocket to put your phone, keys and wallet in when it's on the trolley, and there are a few other small places where you can hide bags and coupons so you have to damn find them. thing when you get to the checkout. But if you can focus, you can use those little pockets to all sorts of advantages. It works for those equally disgusting high chairs in restaurants! good value
