Better for the back than a regular bag but no better than a backpack

It's probably true that it's better for the back than a regular bag but since I switched from a backpack to this one bin , this bag seemed heavier because the weight fell on one shoulder, not two. As another reviewer mentioned, I just couldn't wear it naturally for some reason. I practiced for about fifteen minutes after opening the bag by hanging it over my shoulder and somehow the bag ended up in front or the flaps that were supposed to be facing out are actually facing in when the bag is actually up the back lands. If I thought about it very carefully and then put it on, it would be right and it felt tight on my back, but it seemed more complicated than I expected. Someone mentioned that magnets destroy magnetic strips, so I'll be careful; Not sure if I like it on velcro or not (velcro is pretty noisy and sticks to sweaters). I didn't think I'd like the outside umbrella/sunglasses pocket and it turned out to be true - I'd be too scared of losing anything. I have an 8.5" umbrella and the pocket is only 6" deep (besides, what can you put in the inner back pocket?). The compartment for pens is also not very reliable, they sometimes fell into the main compartment of the bag. As mentioned, I'm not sure what fits in a 3x3 external pouch other than maybe a lip balm or contact case. It holds a 1.5" thick novel, but for my personal use that size was still too small (I just don't need to carry that much! I don't usually carry novels, that was just a test haha) for a quick and easy access I think because the shape made it difficult to fill the entire space - I carry a small bottle of contact solution, a 500ml water bottle, a 7oz lotion (the smallest size they sell for my eczema) , a 7x4 clutch, sunglasses, etc.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • sad packaging
