This lightbar had so much potential and I really wanted to like it. It was light and had a timer which is important to the type of dominant plant in my tank which is crypts (they don't like change so consistency helps them thrive). I bought it as an extra light source to allow the light to reach the back of the tank more easily between the floating plants and the moss above. I wanted to be sure the large crypts of the leaves didn't drown out the back. tank, I noticed that it started bubbling. For an item that is supposed to be waterproof and most waterproof devices are sealed, this one didn't look like it because bubbling is a sign of water getting into the light. I started a refund and received a replacement. The replacement has the same problem so now I have to send 2 of them back. I don't usually leave reviews, but this is a security issue! If they're not waterproof, you're essentially throwing the equivalent of a living object into the tank with no precautions. Of course, there is a chance that the flashlight will break before someone gets hurt, but some people are more sensitive to electric current and can injure themselves. By the way, this lantern gives off a little heat, I've noticed that it feels hot in my hands. . It's okay, but some LEDs get cool.
