I have a pro setup with three lights and wanted to use the few small flashes I have instead of the big flashes. So I decided to buy these to be able to sync all my flashes together and have something lighter and more portable. I do a lot of free photo shoots for friends and family and figured it would be better than lugging around all my heavy gear. When I first used it, I was in the studio and knew it had some timing issues. Everything will set up and you'll take a recording or two and then they just stop working and then you have to turn them off and on again to get them working again. So I decided not to use them for portrait photography because they are not reliable at all! So now I use it in the garden for macro shots and set up the light like a bug or a caterpillar and 99% of the time I miss it because it just doesn't work! These creatures are very temperamental. If you turn it off, turn it back on and wait a second it will work again, but after a few shots it will stop working no matter how many times you shoot. You have to turn everything off and on again and then it might work. It defeats the whole purpose, and as photographers we all know that missed shots are missed opportunities. Whether it's about making money or building your portfolio. I am very disappointed in these things. Very disappointed
