As winter sets in, I like the styling and utility of flannel shirt jackets. This jacket looks like a shirt but performs like a light jacket without looking like outerwear. While the office temperature drops to 65F to save on heating bills, I remain warm with the sweatshirt-soft lining.The Gioberti version of this is my thickest and favorite version of a flannel shirt jacket. There are no buttons, nor is there any cheap velcro anywhere; every closure has a snap. The cuffs, chest pockets, and midline are all snaps, making it easy to adjust if I get too warm or cold.When open, the chest pockets can hold my cell phone, and the jacket material is strong enough to reduce sagging. There are also side pockets to put my hands in to keep them warm. The enormous pockets on the inside that can easily hold a large tablet or notebook due to their size, but the weight might cause sagging and look strange.I'm 6'1", 185lbs, with a 42-inch chest, and the large fits true-to-size.
