This case arrived quickly and in good condition. The Build quality is probably on par with the price (i.e. it's low) withstands the use/abuse of college life The handles are poor quality plastic straps, the walls are thin chipboard and the hardware (hinges, lock, etc.) The interior lining looks unfinished off and there is nothing holding the lid open, so it's easy to over-tighten the hinges or accidentally slam the lid shut.Smaller than other "standard-size" chests, at least an inch or two for every penny. However, it did only $70 shipped to my door as returning will probably be 1/2 the cost of the item, i will be keeping it and using it around the house and also looking for something more permanent that my son will enjoy can take to college.
