Very disappointing - bedding

I've been researching electric blankets for a couple of days and the reviews on them seemed promising. However, it did not meet my expectations. First of all, the automatic shutdown took 30 minutes rather than 4 hours. I tried turning it back on and the same thing happened. Even then, on the highest setting, this blanket barely got warm. My smaller heating pad is much warmer than this one. You can feel the wiring slightly and only some of the wires seemed to get hot. However, I returned it the same day.
