To anyone reading the reviews and wondering if these cradles can be washed, are they really suitable for two children etc. I wanted to answer my questions before ordering. yes washable At least the gray fox version (I think it's called "Forest Friends"). The bassinet insert, mattress pad and fluffy mattress pad are all separate. I washed it on gentle cycle and hung it to dry, everything is holding up and looking new. Completely satisfied, it will be easy to keep clean. Second, it applies to two children or not. The cradles are designed for two. When babies outgrow the cradle, the instructions recommend not placing them in the same cradle. This is consistent with all available information on safe sleeping for babies, so I don't know what reviewers were expecting when babies stop using cradles. If they can turn around, technically they should be in separate sleeping quarters. Whether or not you follow this advice is up to you, but it's nothing against the playground per se. Finally, I was bothered by a comment that the cradle awnings were too loose and unsafe. I didn't think so. Velcro hoods fit snugly on the sides and do not fall into the cradle.
