I already had the Global Art Canvas Cases and LOVED them. When I saw this for almost the same price I had to try it. I bought another 120 leather pencil case and was disappointed so didn't know what to expect. This pencil case is AMAZING! The leather is incredibly soft and feels high quality. The elastic straps and lining inside the case are exactly the same as the highest quality canvas cases I've found. I love the buttons on the ends of the zippers when I travel. I really have no complaints about this case and as of now I don't see myself ever buying another brand again. Leather is good too because it doesn't pick up dust and dog hair like canvas, which I think is worth a few bucks more. (I often paint in bed and have my suitcases next to my dogs. Hair is inevitable.) Elastic bands work well. You can put 3 pencils from Polychromos, Pablo, Albrect Durer or Derwent but it will be handy. I don't mind as I usually take my pencils out while I'm working on a project and then put them away when I'm done, so I only take them out occasionally. Thinner pens like Prismacolor and Lyra fit here nicely, 3 per slot. The elastic is still tight enough not to dangle, which is the perfect compromise to ensure each brand fits. Now if I had an excuse to replace my 3 canvas sleeves with these.
