With all the complaints about bad autofocus Canon has made a firmware update to 'try' and fix it, this was the very first thing I have tested. Yes, it still sucks. Within 5 minutes everything was packed and ready for return. I've been with Canon for 30 years now and currently use the 70D with a range of EF and L lenses. My current point and shoot is the Canon G-15 which also disappoints with the faded colors Canon is known for is. However, Canon's current Point & Shoot stack has been mediocre at best, while Sony has succeeded. I think I'm leaning towards their RX100 vii or A6600. Sony here I come! Canon, work on the program or stay behind!
