Review on 🚿 NearMoon High Pressure Stainless Steel Rainfall Showerhead with Adjustable Arm - Ultra-Thin Design for Ultimate Relaxation and Pressure Boosting - Chrome Finish by David Encarnacion

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beautiful view. Well done. Ease of installation.

This shower head looks great right out of the box. It comes with some extra accessories in the box and the box is well designed. It includes a small roll of Teflon tape and 3 additional silicone nozzles (more on that later). Installation is easy if you follow the instructions and insert the black rubber washers into the extension tube fittings before screwing on the shower head. onto the extension and before screwing the extension onto the shower pipe. To adjust the angle and height, you need to loosen the wing nuts on either side of the extension tube. Loosen them just enough to adjust the shower head. If you loosen them too much, as others have mentioned, you will end up removing them as there are only about 4 turns left before the nut comes out of the bolt's threads. It's not a big deal, but refilling can be a bit of a hassle. IMPORTANT: Worth repeating: *Make sure to use the black rubber washers!” for most reviews mentioning leaks. Most of the negative reviews here can be attributed to people who didn't follow the instructions. If you omit the rubber washer * IT WILL LEAK *. You may need an extra step, use Teflon™ tape, but it's an easy step. Take a 2-3 inch piece of duct tape and wrap it clockwise around the strands, slightly overlapping. Tighten the connection, but not too tight. After hand tightening, tighten about 1/4 turn more with a wrench. Overtightening can also cause leaks, as too much pressure on the rubber washers can cause them to deform, which in turn will cause leaks. Using washing machines in plumbing has always been a problem - just look at all those faucets that advertise "no washing up"! That's why. Overall I would give this shower head 5 stars minus the quality control issue. When I received the shower head (new, never used) 5 nozzles were missing. I looked inside the box but there are no nozzles, meaning they weren't there when it was packed. I had extra accessories that came with the shower head but there were only 3. After using the shower heads that came with it there were 2 holes with no jets (see photo). In case anyone else had the same problem, I was able to use 2 spare erasers from a Pentel® mechanical pencil and they fitted very well until I was able to find a replacement (see photo). They blocked 2 holes out of about a hundred (I didn't count them all - I could if I wanted to, but I didn't want to :D). When I contacted the seller (via their support email) they sent me some replacement heads (about 35 in total!) which was excellent in terms of customer service. The only downside was that we had to wait about 8 days for delivery. After I took out the temporary erasers and installed new nozzles, everything was fine. The pressure is good but not too strong. I didn't use the pressure washer that came with it, but I could if needed. There is a spare part in the "Extra" kit. In summary, we can say that this is a very good quality item in terms of design and materials used. Their quality control requires some work, but their customer support makes up for it. . . nearly. Until it leaks and rusts. Our water turns rusty orange after a while and other shower heads without detachable heads are difficult to clean. In this case, the attachments should simply be removed and soaked in stain remover to return them to normal. This is one of the advantages of detachable silicone tips. I'm going to rate my experience on the main points here on a scale of 1 to 10 for those who don't want to read the entire review. Ease of installation: 8 out of 10 points. Quality. Management: 4/10 Design: 8.5/10 Materials: 8/10 Customer Service: 9/10 Overall: 7.5/10, which is a decent 4/5 stars.
